On the occasion of World Day of the Sick, celebrated on February 11, the Saint Camille Center of Dassa marked the event with a series of spiritual and social activities, in a spirit of communion and solidarity.

As a prelude to this celebration, a triduum of prayers was organized with the participation of “friends”, in order to entrust to the Lord the Founder, the members of the Fraternity, the staff as well as all the benefactors of the work.

As part of the celebration, several initiatives were implemented in favor of the people hosted at the center. These focused in particular on the family reintegration of stabilized patients, the care of sick people living on the street, as well as recreational and therapeutic activities with hospitalized patients. A fraternal meal was also shared, helping to strengthen ties and bring a moment of joy to the beneficiaries.

The culmination of this celebration was the thanksgiving mass on February 11, presided over by Reverend Father Franck, who was also celebrating his first anniversary of priestly ordination.

Through these various actions, the Saint Camille de Dassa Center reaffirms its commitment to supporting people in vulnerable situations, while offering them a framework conducive to reconstruction, dignity and hope.
