The farm of the Association Saint Camille de Lellis, located in Gbédavo, is actively continuing the development of its agricultural activities with significant progress on several areas of production. Currently, watermelon crops are in full fruiting phase, announcing promising production for the next harvests. At the same time, the teams began plowing work on a new 26-hectare area recently cleared on site 2. This extension marks an important step in increasing the farm's production capacities. As part of the development of the estate, significant resource management work was carried out. The wood from the clearing was grouped and then transported to the center of Dassa. To date, 4 trips by vehicle and 7 trips by tricycle have already been made. Part of the wood remains available and will be used locally, particularly for cooking needs on the farm as well as in the center of Dassa, including for bakery activities. Market gardening activities also continue with the transplanting of tomato plants, an essential step to guarantee good productivity. At the same time, the banana industry is developing with the installation of a new hectare of banana trees, while a second hectare is currently being prepared. These different actions illustrate the growth dynamic and the commitment of the Saint Camille de Lellis Association to strengthening agricultural production, while sustainably valorizing available resources
